The team at Northcote House Surgery has 1 GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant, 1 Dispenser, 1 Practice Manager and 6 Reception/Admin staff.
Two members of staff each have more than 21 years service and those who have retired or left in the past continue to have close links with the Practice, offering additional support as necessary.
Training and developing staff is important to ensure patients receive the best care, as well as for personal and organisational development. Staff undergo training relevant to their role and attend regular refresher courses to keep up to date with the many changing systems and procedures. In addition everyone completes mandatory training on several topics. We also invite external trainers to come to the Practice who provide further training eg Customer Care.
